Lancashire Lottery Prize Unclaimed
A mystery lottery winner in Lancashire has one month remaining, in which to claim a prize worth £114,939.
Lottery officials are still attempting to identify the owner of a winning ticket, who matched five numbers along with the bonus ball, in the Lottery Draw held on 20th February, 2010.
With the deadline approaching fast, National Lottery Players are being urged to check and double check any tickets they may have, or down the side of furniture, and clothes pockets, in order not to miss out on this prize, if entitled to it.
Winning numbers from that draw were: 8, 24, 27, 31, 34, 36, with the bonus ball being 19. The deadline for the mystery winner to make his or her claim is 17:30 hours, on Thursday 19th August 2010.
Should the prize money not be claimed by that deadline, then that sum of money, plus all interest attracted will be donated to charity.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “The deadline is approaching fast for the mystery winner to make their claim, however, we are always hopeful that they will make a last minute claim on their entitlement. We therefore urge everybody to check, and double check any old Lottery tickets retained, check also unusual or obscure places where the ticket could be laying.”
Players concerned about missed winnings because of lost tickets may care to consider our recommended alternative of setting up a lottery syndicate.
