Emmerdale: Excess Alcohol EuroMillions Lottery Winners Set To Cause Disruption
A family of EuroMillions Lottery winners, who are reputedly excess alcohol trouble makers, is anticipated to cause disruption in Emmerdale later this year.
The family, made up of a couple and four unruly teenagers, will descend upon the quiet Yorkshire village later this year, having moved there from a big inner city council estate.
A senior ITV1 source revealed, “We are currently keeping details of this very quiet, and in anticipation of being the first UK soap to feature lottery winners, are anxious not to be beaten to the first screening.”
The family is well known to police, and writers will typecast them as extravagantly residing in a stately home near Emmerdale, driving around in expensive, luxury cars.
In a further interesting twist to the story, after being barred from The Woolpack due to their unreasonable behaviour, the family unsuccessfully attempt to buy the pub.
The senior ITV source explained: “Lottery winners make a habit of buying luxury homes in the countryside, and in reality, not all winners are pleasant people.”
