British Ticket Holder Wins £56m in Euro Lottery
This week’s amazing £113m EuroMillions jackpot was split between winners in Britain and Spain, with one lucky British ticket holder set to walk away with a jaw-dropping £56m fortune. Just think of that for a few seconds. What would YOU do?
This jackpot, on 12th February 2010, exceeded a previous £91m jackpot, shared between two UK ticket holders in November 2009.
A National Lottery spokesman was ecstatic that the UK has been home to yet another major EuroMillions winner.
Once the prize has been validated, the lucky winner could well be in funds first thing on Monday morning when the banks open. I wonder if he or she will then go in to work? Would you?
The winning numbers to pot this fantastic prize were: 5, 45, 1, 38 & 18 and Lucky Star numbers 6 and 4; with the Raffle Selection matching ZHR 111871 being won by a UK millionaire.
The EuroMillions draw has been responsible for some huge prizes: in May 2009 a record-breaking £113,229,891 was won by a single ticket holder from Spain. But the record breaking European win of £128.3m, on 22nd August 2009, by a single ticket holder in the Italian SuperEnalotto game, remains unbeaten.
Nine countries participate in the EuroMillions draw, namely…… UK, Austria, Belgium, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.
But even if you’re outside those nine, you can join the fun, and boost your chances even more, by joining an e-Lottery syndicate, with both Lucky Stars numbers guaranteed. It’s available where-ever the Lottery is legal in your country. (Not in the USA)
